Mommy + Me's Salmon Croquettes

Ingredients

  • 4 canned Pink wild-caught salmon

  • 1/4 onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic (small)

  • 1 lemon

  • Salt

  • Ground black pepper

  • Cayenne pepper

  • Crushed red pepper

  • Paprika or smoked paprika

  • Dried dill weed

  • 1 egg

  • Avocado oil



Measurements

  • Dice 1/4 onion

  • Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic

  • 12 Grinds of salt

  • 12 Grinds black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp of Paprika or smoked Paprika

  • 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp of crushed red pepper

  • Juice 1/2 lemon

  • 1/2 tsp dried dill weed

  • 1 tbsp Avocado oil

  • Empty 4 Cans of Pink Wild caught salmon

  • a whole egg (yolk + white)


Forming

  • Mix all ingredients in properly sized bowl.

  • Use medium-sized spoon + hand in cupping motion to create medium sized balls of the salmon mix.


Cook

  • In a medium-sized shallow pan with a little avocado oil, pan fry the salmon mixture balls for 5 minutes on each side.

  • During the flip, use a spatula to flatten the croquettes/salmon mix balls a little.

  • Use finishing salt.

  • Enjoy.
