Mommy + Me's Salmon Croquettes
Ingredients
4 canned Pink wild-caught salmon
1/4 onion
2 cloves of garlic (small)
1 lemon
Salt
Ground black pepper
Cayenne pepper
Crushed red pepper
Paprika or smoked paprika
Dried dill weed
1 egg
Avocado oil
Measurements
Dice 1/4 onion
Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic
12 Grinds of salt
12 Grinds black pepper
1/2 tsp of Paprika or smoked Paprika
1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
1 tsp of crushed red pepper
Juice 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp dried dill weed
1 tbsp Avocado oil
Empty 4 Cans of Pink Wild caught salmon
a whole egg (yolk + white)
Forming
Mix all ingredients in properly sized bowl.
Use medium-sized spoon + hand in cupping motion to create medium sized balls of the salmon mix.
Cook
In a medium-sized shallow pan with a little avocado oil, pan fry the salmon mixture balls for 5 minutes on each side.
During the flip, use a spatula to flatten the croquettes/salmon mix balls a little.
Use finishing salt.
